Mr. Ryan Clark has been training since 1992 at the age of 15. He began his training under Sifu Terry Grant in Eugene, Or. His training has taken him to Japan, Brazil, Thailand, Australia, Canada and numerous states, both to teach and learn. Mr. Clark received his Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2006 and is a 3rd degree Black Belt registered under the International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation. Ryan is also a representative for 4x World Championship medalist Wellington “Megaton” Dias. He is a Instructor in Filipino Martial Arts (FMA) and Jeet Kune Do (JKD) under Guro Dan Inosanto and a Senior Instructor in JKD and FMA under Sifu Paul Vunak and Sifu Thomas Cruse. Ryan is also a Khun Kru Instructor under Ajarn Surachi “Chai” Sirisute and is the World Thai Boxing Association (WTBA) representative for Central Oregon.
Mr. Clark is one of the original martial artists in the State of Oregon for teaching Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Jeet Kune Do and the Filipino Martial Arts. He has promoted more than 8 Jiu Jitsu Black Belts, 15 Full Instructors and has taught over 3,000 students all over the State of Oregon and Nationally. He has helped students become Jiu Jitsu World Champions, fight in the UFC and Bellator. He has worked with professional athletes and has taught everything from law enforcement programs for the DEA to local and national seminars on realistic martial arts. Mr. Clark has taught at two major Universities in Oregon, the University of Oregon (1995-1998) and Portland State University (2000-2002). He’s appeared in 6 different video series for Progressive Fighting Systems as well as appeared in Black Belt Magazine with Sifu Paul Vunak. Mr. Clark does Local and National Seminars on Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Jeet Kune Do, Filipino Martial Arts and Muay Thai.
